Everybody is wearing them... it's everywhere. Floral has well and truly taken over but how do you follow the trend without looking like a strip of your grandmothers wallpaper? It's all in the accesories of course! Edgy floral is a bit barbie meets rockstar but if you wear the right jacket you can pull it off. I've seen floral being teamed with leather jackets and black shoe boots for a roughed up girly hybrid but while browsing the stores I much preferred the look when teamed with a denim jacket. I put together outfits at River Island and New Look to show what looks you can achieve on different budgets.

I found this floral playsuit and thought it was a great alternative to the floral dress, add to it a denim jacket and you're ticking two style boxes! I couldn't decide whether I preferred the stonewash colour or traditional denim colour jacket so I've uploaded both pictures to illustrate both individual looks. New Look
I went to New Look to create the same style and fell.in.love.with.these SHOES! The floral dress was £10, denim jacket £25 and as that only comes to £35 for the outfit you can justify the shoes on top which were £25.
