Utility Trousers

Utility Glam is a trend that's taking the celebrity world by storm this season. Victoria Beckham has been spotted teaming a khaki coloured pair of utility trousers with a black blazer, neutral coloured heels and oversized sunnies for a bang upto date smart casual style. Cheryl Cole has also been snapped wearing the trousers. She wore a lighter green pair with black cut out style heels, a leather jacket and dark sunglasses. If you are looking to follow in the footsteps of these fashion divas then I've found a similar style in both New Look and River Island.

The River Island pair are the more expensive pair but they win in the comfort department. The only flaw is that the light tone to them makes them appear too casual to team with heels for a glam look like the stars. I do, however adore the braces attached and would wear them for a casual daytime look. The New Look version are very tight in the calf so depending on your figure you may need to play around with sizes. There's a zip at the bottom of each trouser leg providing some edgy detail but may look noisy if you wear patterned shoes so try to keep it simple.
